If you enjoy small seasonal crochet projects, the crochet bunny ear egg topper is a fun one to try.

It's a simple little design that slips over the top of an egg, instantly turning it into a cute bunny for Easter or spring decorating.

This project works up quickly and doesn't require much yarn, which makes it a great stash-buster if you have small leftovers from other crochet projects.

The crochet bunny ear egg topper usually uses basic stitches and a small amount of shaping to create the soft bunny ears, giving the finished piece a playful look without being complicated.

They're especially nice for Easter tables.

A few crochet bunny ear egg toppers placed on decorated eggs can make a breakfast table feel extra festive, and they also work well tucked into Easter baskets or used as small handmade gifts.

Because they're so quick to make, it's easy to crochet several in different colors.

Soft pastel shades are perfect for spring, but bright colors or neutral tones can work just as well depending on the style you like.
