You will need 2 colors:
- Col A - Main bag color; 0.64 ounces / 54 yards (18 grams / 49 meters)
- Col B - Stripe Color; 0.04 ounces / 3 yards (1 gram / 2.70 meters)
Hook
- 4mm (G-6)

- Yarn needle
- Scissors
*Wraps per inch (WPI) - this is a measure of yarn thickness. To measure WPI, count how many times the yarn wraps around a ruler in one inch. There are more wraps for thinner yarn and fewer wraps for thicker yarn.
Yarn and Hook Information
You can use any yarn type you'd like. Cotton works just as well. Remember to use an appropriate hook size for the yarn you are using.

- Col A - Main Color, e.g. purple
- Col B - Stripe Color, e.g. White
- Your drawstring color can be anything you'd like.
Foundation: Col A, Ch3, sl st into 1st ch to form a loop.
Round 1: Ch2 (counts as st), 9 dc into the loop. Sl st into top of ch2 to join. [10 dc].
Round 2: Ch2 (counts as st), 1 dc into same sp as ch2, 2 dc into each st around. Sl st into top of ch2 to join. [20 dc].
Round 3: Ch2 (counts as st), 1 hdc in same sp as ch2, *1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, repeat from * around until you reach the end. Sl st into top of starting ch2 to join. [30 hdc].
