Sometimes the smallest projects can be the most satisfying, and this mini crochet drawstring pouch is a perfect example.

I made a few to store my jewelry and tiny craft supplies, and having a little handmade pouch for each type of item made it so easy to keep things neat.

I also love these crochet pouches because they're great for when I have to give a last minute gift!

Its compact size means it fits perfectly in drawers, bags, or on shelves without taking up much space.

This pouch is incredibly versatile. You can make a set in neutral tones for everyday use or use bright, seasonal colors for gifts around holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day, or even Easter.

A simple drawstring closure keeps items secure while adding a cute finishing detail. It's also a great stash-busting project-you can use leftover yarn to make multiple pouches in fun color combinations.

Made with soft yarn, this mini crochet drawstring pouch is beginner-friendly, quick to make, and satisfying to see finished.

You can personalize it by adjusting the size, changing colors, or even adding small embellishments like beads or buttons.

Whether you're gifting it or keeping it for yourself, it's a project that combines practicality, charm, and simplicity.

Making the Drawstring

Foundation: Ch70. FO.

Crochet drawstring.

Finishing

Take one string and weave it through the chain spaces you made in round 9, make sure you start from the middle of the chain spaces so that when you have woven all the string through, it matches at the middle (the starting end and final end should end up in the same chain space).

It can help if you thread the yarn tail of your string onto a needle and then weave it through.

Adjust your strings so that they sit evenly on both sides.

Trim the excess of your strings to neaten your bag. Completed drawstring pouch. To close, gently pull on both ends of the string. Tie into a bow.
