  • #3 light milk cotton or cotton blend yarn with 12-13 Wraps Per Inch (WPI)*
    • You will need about 0.11 ounces (3 grams) of yarn.

Hook

  • 3 mm hook

  • Scissors

*Wraps per inch (WPI) - this is a measure of yarn thickness. To measure WPI, count how many times the yarn wraps around a ruler in one inch. There are more wraps for thinner yarn and fewer wraps for thicker yarn.

Foundation: Ch56. Tip, if you want a larger bow, add more chains, if you want a small bow, use less chains.

Row 1: 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc in each st across. FO, weaving in any ends. [54 hdc].

Cut a strand of yarn that is about 10 inches (25 cm) long. Loop your long crochet piece into a bow shape. Lay the cut strand of yarn out, then place the bow onto the center of the strand of yarn.

Wrap the cut strand of yarn around the middle of the a few times. Then, double knot the yarn to fasten off. Weave in any loose ends.
