If you love the cozy vibes of autumn and want a simple way to bring it into your crochet projects, this pumpkin granny square crochet pattern is ideal.

Combining the classic granny square structure with a cute pumpkin motif, it's beginner-friendly, quick to make, and adds an instant seasonal touch.

This pattern works well for a variety of projects-from blankets and tote bags to coasters, table accents, or decorative appliqués.

You can make a single square as a small accent, or join multiple pumpkin squares to create larger blankets and throws that scream fall.

It's also perfect for Halloween decorations or Thanksgiving-themed gift sets, giving your handmade items a festive yet practical appeal.

One of the best parts about this pumpkin granny square is how versatile it is with yarn use.

You can turn leftover scrap yarn into a colorful autumn patchwork, or mix traditional pumpkin tones like orange and brown with neutral shades for a more subtle, everyday design.

With just a few basic stitches, you can create a project that looks detailed and professional, while still being approachable for beginners.

This pumpkin granny square crochet pattern is a seasonal make that works well alongside this sunflower granny square crochet pattern, or heart granny square, when you're building themed or festive square collections.

Whether you're making a seasonal blanket for your living room, a cute tote bag for carrying small items, or a batch of coasters for gifting, this pumpkin granny square crochet pattern offers both style and function.

It's practical, adaptable, and perfect for using up your stash while creating something that will last.
