Made with cotton yarn held double-stranded, it's thick, sturdy, and perfectly insulating-ideal for keeping drinks warm while protecting your hands from the heat.

This cozy is designed with both style and practicality in mind.

The button closure allows it to slip easily around most mugs, while the double strands of cotton give it just the right amount of texture and stretch.

Using basic stitches, it's simple enough for beginners yet satisfying for seasoned crocheters looking for a quick, useful project.

It's also a wonderful crochet gift idea-great for birthdays, holidays, teacher gifts, or as part of a coffee-themed gift set.

FAQ

Can I use one strand instead of two?

Yes, but it will be thinner-using two strands gives it more structure and insulation.

Can I use acrylic yarn instead?

It's possible for decorative cozies, but cotton handles heat better.

Can beginners make this?

Absolutely. It's a great confidence-building crochet pattern using simple stitches.
